The lights, ALIVE! Something a little different for an evening, wethinks...
Mike_Diver by Mike Diver June 1st, 2006

Now, we're always banging on at you to see this band or that band or those bands or his disfigured toe, but sometimes even we get bored of night after night of pulsating rock music and endless free beers.* So, in an attempt to plug something a little different, we've come up with this...

The Light Surgeons are an experimental production company who've provided live graphics for a positive slew of bands. What bands? Okay: Sneaker Pimps, U2, Basement Jaxx, Ninja Tunes artists... the list goes on. They've also tried their hand at music videos with no little success, which makes the following news quite The Interesting.

They'll be performing, for free, at Bradford's St George's Hall on June 16. The piece of the day is 'Z-Axis', described here as "an innovative and explosive live remix of cult film The Fountainhead". Since you asked.

The tickets, free though they are, must be pre-booked. You can get yourself one by calling 01274 432000. Alternatively, click here. We reckon you should. No pressure or owt...

*A lie, obviously
