Desert Sessions: QotSA Side-Project LP Playback!
sean by Sean Adams October 13th, 2003
Josh and Polly, sitting in a desert, s.e.s.s.i.on.ing...

If you didn't know, the filthy heart of the Queens of the Stoneage, Joshua Homme, took the likes of Polly Harvey and Twiggy Ramirez out into the desert to record another jam come pop record come encapsulation of mentalness. The record is as varied and drug-induced as the previous eight sessions but it's damn fine.

Those lovely folks at Island Records (c/o Universal) have given us a player to give you, so you can try the record before you buy it. Click Here.

And then write your own review below...

For any nerds, here's a full list of contributors: Polly Jean Harvey (Pj Harvey), Dean Ween (Ween), Alain Johannes (Eleven), Joshua Homme, Twiggy Ramirez (Perfect Circle/ex-Marilyn Manson), Chris Goss (Masters of Reality), Dave Catching (earthlings?, Mondo Generator), Joey Castillo (QOTSA), Josh Freese, Brian 'Big Hands' O'Connor, Troy Van Leeuwen and The Tuff Gentlemen.
