Korn: Out To Reclaim Their Place?
rubbafish by Colin Weston April 16th, 2003
Arguably the most instrumental band in nu-metal culture, Bakersfield's finest Korn are set to return to the studio.

Following on from last years dire effort 'Untouchables' (and yes, I AM a fan), their sixth album is to be "straight, raw and dirty" or at least it should be according to singer Jonathan Davis.

The band alledgedly intend to get back to their heavy roots with previous albums being considered to be shit-hop and disco metal to coin just a few phrases. The new album is expected to have 10 to 12 new tracks, with provisional song titles being branded around as 'No Jocks' and 'Head, Booty and Cock'.

In addition to this, JD is also set to make his big acting debut in a movie called 'Seeing Other People'.

The film is about a couple who just prior to marriage decide that they should have one last fling. The film also stars Jay Mohr (Jerry Maguire, Cherry Falls), Julianne Nicholson (Ally McBeal) & Andy Richter (Scary Movie 2).

In a last piece of Korn related news, some readers may have noticed that when Limp Bizkit appeared to perform during WWE Wrestlemania (man, it is WWF, we all know it!), there was an appearance by none other then Brian 'Head' Welch prompting many to believe he had now joined the band as a replacement for the now departed Wes Borland. Well, it is all untrue and the replacement is 'that guy from Snot' so now ya know!
