Turin Brakes: Pain Killin Ether Junket

Turin Brakes.. details on their new single and a tour...

The second single, from Turin Brakes second album 'Ether Song' (released March 2rd), is to be the track 'Pain Killer (Summer Rain)' on February 17th.

NERD ALERT.... 'Pain Killer (Summer Rain)' was recorded in early summer 2002 with producer Tony Hoffer (Beck/AIR/Supergrass) at The Sound Factory in West Hollywood. Olly and Gale are joined by bassist Justin Meldal-Johnsen (Beck) and drummer Brian Reitzell (AIR) on the track. Plus the video was done by David Slade (The Music/Clubbed To Death)

The CD has b-sides 'Where's My Army' and the video. There's also 7" which has a demo version of a song from the album called 'Little Brother'.

And the massive tour, this time with a full band goes like this:
