The National confirm High Violet tracklist
JoeDiddly by Luke Slater March 16th, 2010

As has been floating around on our boards for the past few days or thereabouts, details of The National's new record, High Violet, are starting to be confirmed, notably by the band themselves, on the record's website. Visit there for some vids and snaps. Well done them for being 'on it'. But just in case...

The most important confirmation this time round is what tracks will appear on the LP and in what order, a.k.a the track list/tracklist/tracklisting, depending on your Style Guide. The record, their first since 2007's Boxer will be released May 10 through 4AD. Tracks are listed below:

  1. Terrible Love
  2. Sorrow
  3. Anyone's Ghost
  4. Little Faith
  5. Afraid Of Everyone
  6. Bloodbuzz Ohio
  7. Lemonworld
  8. Runaway
  9. Conversation 16
  10. England
  11. Vanderlyle Crybaby Geeks

Now, we would love to show you, directly, the album art - because it's interesting. But we can't. So you're going to have to click here to find out what it looks like, if you didn't know already.

Their Royal Albert Hall show is now sold out, as is their Electric Ballroom show, but they DO play Latitude Festival as one of the headliners, so if you're that desperate about seeing them play live in this country, then a ticket for that would be a wise purchase.
