WIN! Tickets to La Route Du Rock festival in France
Mike_Diver by Mike Diver August 7th, 2008

Sometimes we’re really too good to you.

DiS has a pair of tickets to give away to the splendid La Route Du Rock festival, held in Saint Malo, France.

The competition winner will be given free access to the festival – held August 14-16 – and have their ferry travel covered. You will be expected to provide your own tent, though – it’s a camp-overnight event. There are various stages to choose from, including a castle stage, a beach stage and a casino stage.

The bill includes a number of high-rating DiS favourites, such as: Foals, Fuck Buttons, Tindersticks, The War On Drugs, Nina Nastasia, Micah P Hinson, Bowerbirds, Phosphorescent, Menomena, The Breeders, Why?, The Notwist, Pivot, Sigur Ros, The Dodos and… um… The Ting Tings.

Find out everything you could ever need to find out at the festival’s official website, here.

To be in with a chance of winning a pair of tickets (you must be aged 18 or over and have a valid UK passport, and be available to travel to Saint Malo on August 14 and return on August 17), simply answer this question:

If you removed all the cheese and wine from France, would the country simply float away into the sky?

A) Of course not, you fool!

B) It might – there’s a lot of wine and cheese!

C) Y’know, I think it will, as cheese can be pretty heavy.

Post your answer in the comments section below – a winner will be picked at random on Tuesday August 12 and contacted via a DiS note; their details will then be passed to festival organisers. Good luck!
