DiS and Vice present exclusive YACHT show in London
Mike_Diver by Mike Diver March 26th, 2008

DiS is pleased to announce details of a special YACHT show, taking place at London’s Old Blue Last this summer.

Portland, Oregon-based YACHT – aka former member of The Blow Jona Bechtolt, a one-man electro-groove party-starter – will call in at the east London pub/venue for a DiS- and Vice- curated gig on 16 July. The show will also feature DiS types on the decks. Duck and cover.

Tickets for the show are £4 – you can reserve your place at the gig by e-mailing me on mike dot diver at drownedinsound dot com, writing ‘YACHT tickets’ in the subject line and giving me full names for all attendees. You can then simply pay on the door. DiS has a limit on tickets, so it’s first come, first served; any spares will be sold on the door along with tickets of people who’ve not made it down. Doors are at 8pm – I advise an early arrival!

YACHT also tours the UK in August, supporting last year’s I Believe In You. Your Magic Is Real LP (review). Check his MySpace for details, songs and more information.
