Why?, Matmos and Fuck Buttons lead Venn Festival's charge into Bristol
TheBoyDeadly by TheBoyDeadly March 6th, 2008

Yet more festival news wings its way to DrownedinSound’s embattled inbox – the first acts have been confirmed for this year’s Venn Festival in Bristol.

Taking place from the 5th ‘til the 8th of June, Matmos, Why?, Fuck Buttons, Le Volume Courbe, Munch Munch and One More Grain are among the first batch of names. See the list in full at the end of this article.

This year’s Venn rides in with bigger ideas than ever before, stretching out imperiously to take in a host of unlikely new venues – planetariums, ice rinks, skate parks? Fuck Buttons on ice!

The following acts will be laying Bristol to waste and disrepair this summer:

Matmos
Why?
Rachel Unthank & The Winterset
Moritz von Oswald
Olo Worms
Sunburned Hand Of The Man

Fuck Buttons
Infinite Livez vs Stade
Skeletons and The Kings of All Cities

Organisers, now in their fifth year of task, promise much, much more for the £30.50 BristolTicketShop.com are charging per ticket. Venn is over 18s only.
