When they revealed here in August that they’d finished recording their new, third album, The Futureheads promised to stream some new material ahead of the album’s release.

‘Broke Up The Time’ is a joyous romp that sees the band return to the style of their debut - “The energy is back, and the songs are tighter, faster and, dare I say it, a bit more playful than before,” stated the band back in August.

The band announced a brace of cosy live shows this time last week, and since then they've added another date at Independent in Sunderland on the 7th of December. Click here for tickets to that show and the Kings College, London date on the 29th of November.
