Kaiser Chiefs on album two: "We are full of inspiration"
Mike_Diver by Mike Diver October 23rd, 2006

Kaiser Chiefs have apparently polished off their second long-player, currently scheduled for an early-2007 release.

Drummer Nick Hodgson has been speaking to Billboard about the album, the follow-up to breakthrough debut Employment.

"We're not retracing any steps here. We are full of inspiration. It's a big world out there. There's a lot of things to draw upon. Just like that album was written about what was happening then, this one's written about what's happening now."

That album, of course, is Employment. I don't own a copy, which must make me one of, oooooh, eighteen people nationwide? Something like that. This is quite a short article, isn't it? Perhaps I should pad it out some more. We won at the weekend, Southampton; Mario Licka scored his first goal for us. That's a funny name, Licka. Rhymes with Snicka, which is nearly a type of chocolate bar.
