Bright Eyes: UK & US tour dates announced
sean by Sean Adams December 14th, 2004
Conor is back on the UK campaign trail...

As part of his plot for Global Domination, with the simple policies of international unification for the damnation of Bush and increased involvement in R&D (Romance'n'Drink), Conor Oberst is coming back.

The dates are in promotion of the two forthcoming albums, both due on January 24th, which DiS can safely say any and all hype is certainly justified. 'I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning' lives up to the new Dylan sensationalism, and then some, and 'Digital Ash, From a Digital Urn' gains a lot from backing shenanigans of The Faint and YYYs Nick Zinner, is like a dishevelled and slightly mangled Postal Service.

In the meantime, get your diary blocked out for the following Bright Eyes live shows, with support from former label mates, the girlsome, popsome, Rilo Kiley. These dates are fresh off'a the presses, so tickets might not be on sale at your usual reliable emporium for all these dates yet.

MARCH 2005
9th Wed Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms
10th Thu Leeds Metropolitan Uni
11th Fri Glasgow QMU
12th Sat Manchester Academy 2

DiScuss: Which record are you most looking forward to? Is that you in the picture? How amazing were those acoustic shows? Conor for President? Do you think Seth Cohen has downloaded all the bootlegs of both albums? If you hate the taste of wine, why do you drink it 'til you're blind?
