Gang Of Four reform
gdobson by Gareth Dobson November 15th, 2004
In a move that has taken absolutely no one by surprise, original new-wave punk agitators Gang Of Four have re-formed.

Doubtless to inspire similar fervour to that caused by the Pixies reuniting, the band have also announced a set of UK dates for early next year.

It will be the first time that the original line up will be together since 1981. Between 1978 and then, Jon King (vocals), Andy Gill (guitar and vocals), Dave Allen (bass) and Hugo Burnham (drums) had released the much vaunted 'Damaged Goods' debut EP (1978), as well as the 2002-2004 trendy band loved 'Entertainment' album (1979) and its follow-up 'Solid Gold'.

Rub shoulders with every band to have ever played the Buffalo Bar at these nights:

January

23 Manchester Academy
24 Leeds University
25 Bristol Academy
27 Birmingham Academy
28 London Shepherd's Bush Empire
