On the way home tonight, sitting at the back of bus, two youths were trying to burn the plastic of the seat handles using a lighter.
I don't like the idea of breathing in plastic fumes so said "can you NOT do that?!" and they stopped (after swearing and mumbling unintelligably at me). Then I started worrying that they might come and sit behind me and set my hair alight. (They didn't).

So I was wondering, if you see that kind of thing going on do you say something? I've had a go at kids dropping litter and people not picking up their dogs poo.
But probably 7/10 times I wont say anything because I'm only small and might get beaten up but I still sit there seething.

Is anyone else a petty crime fighter or do we all sit there staring straight ahead and not get involved?
