I mean, who did that stuff? You know how pretty much anything and everything has been indentified as a potential food source, or not. Who was the first person for example, to dig up a gnarly, dirt covered piece of ginger root, bite into it, decide it was disgusting, then think "ah, but if you grated this pungent brown root into a paste and added it in small quantities to this soup it would be lovely!" And who invented dough for bread? SUCH an odd process to have tried out, adding dust to water to form paste and then baking it with YEAST of all things.
