I have a slight dilemma... I have very recently made friends with a guy from myspace who is pretty cool... (it's platonic - he has a girlfriend) but we share a lot of interests in music - he is a breaks dj/producer/radio man and dabbles with lots of the electronic stuff I like.
Anyway - I got home last night and in my drunk stupor msgd him and said I was going to this breaks bbq at camden with friend Dan... and gave him my number.
Dan has fucking cancelled on me and is in Finsbury Park.
I just got a text from this guy asking to meet up at 6pm... I said I'd try to get there but have to walk dog first (true).
The thing is - I kinda feel a bit WIERD meeting someone like that and the automatic 'stranger danger' thingy from childhood has come back. I know I met a lot of you guys via this net but with DiS, it's a 'community' and everyone knows everyone.. I don't know this guy at all.
Should I go?
