after watching glengarry glen ross last night, it took me back to when i left uni and i had a job for two weeks selling these memberships to a country club in cornwall. it was just like a timeshare and these things were fucking nigh on impossible to sell. the leads were awful....and i just couldnt do it. The cockney twat who ran the company got rid of most of us in the first two weeks (we were walking out anyway)...but there was a chinese girl there that was selling these things hand over fist and making a killing in commission.

I could never, ever have a job in sales....especially a sales job where the product has got something to do with cold calling and has 'con' written all over it
