Music Social More…

a serious question about women

Slicky [Edit] [Delete] 15:29, 21 June '06

So, after reading the lead piece in the G2 section today http://www.guardian.co.uk/gender/story/0,,1802335,00.html I was wondering what people thought about the fact that Jordan is looked upon as an icon by girls, that people are no longer frowned upon for wanting to be porn stars or glamour models.

Is it refreshing to have all this out in the open, is it really the ultimate expression of women's lib or are these women just pandering to the 'get yourtits out' school of thought trying desperately to be accepted/achknowledged by men.

Me I think it's really sad that so called equality and 'liberation' is now seemingly fighting itself.
