It's a real tough one. They don't have to have been in your lifetime and we're all clearly going to miss some out, but a while thinking has brought me to this:

2. The Day Today
3. Brass Eye
4. Ren & Stimpy
5. Six Feet Under
6. Conviction
7. Jam
8. Have I Got News For You
9. Friends
10. Lost

With the exception about music, the two other things I'm proudly obsessive and endlessly geeky over are The Simpsons (go on, try me for episode production codes, season numbers, guest stars, anything. I've contributed to SNPP you know...) and Chris Morris in general. Oh, and Transport Tycoon and Digitiser, but that's not really relevant here.

Lost is a controversial 10th place. Yes, we've only just finished Season Two, but it's genuinely gripping, fantastic television. Six Feet Under made me cry too many times to ignore. HIGNIFY is STILL funny in its seventeenth season, Friends is basically perfect American sitcom, Ren & Stimpy is genius and Conviction is the best mini-serial-drama I've ever seen.

I've wasted a large part of my life. But I'm happy.
