Music Social More…

I never thought I'd say this but...

bagsy54 [Edit] [Delete] 10:43, 13 June '06

...I wish I was watching South Korea versus Togo today.
I just cannot be arsed with my job any more.
I spent my day yesterday covering inquests. Two suicides and two hospital deaths which were both quite graphic.
I had to sit in the back of the coroner's court while they went through all this information about how the people died and why.
I sat there like a dumbass while family members break down around me.
I feel like such a bastard for being there. I know it's my job, but I do feel like I'm impossing on someone's grief, especially when you stand back and think: "Would someone really want to read about this anyway?"
Regional journalism. You get treated like crap and paid utter crap. Just a word of warning for anyone considering it as a career.
