Birthday gift - what book should I buy?

Rose-Kitten [Edit] [Delete] 11:07, 13 April '06

It's my friend Toby's bday tomorrow... and I'm a bit stuck on a great book to get him (we always get each other books). He likes things that make you think... factual stuff... sometimes silly facts, sometimes really indepth stuff... (I'm being vague - sorry). He did a masters in advertising therefore is very interested in popular culture, brands, products, people, what makes them tick. He is also a music lover and used to run parties years ago back in the rave days (and dj - he was good good good).

What should I buy him? I thought about the Freakonomics book, and also, Anschul was talking about 'The Artful Universe' by John D Barrow on another thread which got me thinking.. Any other suggestions of good stuff that might work?

Sorry for indepth brief here.

Cheers and hoots.
