Views on asking people out

Rose-Kitten [Edit] [Delete] 11:15, 10 April '06

My dilemma. I met this cute film director guy yesterday through my flatmate - she has worked with him before. I think he may have fancied me. I think I kind of fancied him. My friend who introduced us said that she thought he may have "taken a shine" to me. I'm not sure (can never ever tell) and when it comes to things like this I can be very shy. I have his email address because I was telling him about all sorts of sites online etc which I said I'd send him the links to (youtube etc). It turns out we actually have mutual friends which is wierd (people who have worked with him in the past are good friends of mine but both are currently away shooting films/ads so it's not like I can wait for a reintroduction soon).

Should I email him, pass on the web links etc and wait to see if he asks ME out (ie, the traditional route)?
OR -
Should I email him, pass on the web links etc and casually suggest catching up etc for a drink sometime?

* UNSURE!
