friday is dress down day in my office, but i don't usually bother because I don't have any of the smart/casual clothes that everyone else seems to wear (slacks or chinos, and a slightly more trendy shirt).

But today I thought I'd wear my normal clothes because it's our work party tonight, and I keep getting strange looks. 3 times already people have looked me up and down with a sneer on their face like I'm about to steal their mobile and sell it for DRUGS. I feel too scared to get up from my desk in case I get more scorn poured upon me!
