Why do you think the novel is called 'The Time-Travller's Wife, rather than 'The Time Traveller'? Is Clare's character more significant than Henry's?

How effective do you think the account of time-travelling in this novel is, compared to accounts in other stories or films.

What do you feel the author is saying about the inevitability of love and death?

Could you imagine the novel being made into a film? Who would star in it?
