okay, so ive got the point where i want to leave my band because i dont trust the guitarist any more and musically we wanna do different things. ive told the band i want to leave but the bassist(also my best friend) is getting really upset and angry that i want to do this despite the fact that ive explained why i dont trust the guiatarist any more. basically he didnt turn up for practices reguarly for 5 months and hes a compulsive bullshitter. but yeh the bassist is getting really upset and is now emotinally blackmailing me by saying "if you were my friend you wouldnt do this" and stuff like that, hes making me feel really bad about it.

so basically i just wanted to know if people think im being an unreasonably bastard or if i have my point and should just go with what i want to do. thoughts please. he was crying and i feel really terrible. i asked him to carry on and do stuff with me but he says he would feel uncomfoprtable.
