A- Level Art

phil_t [Edit] [Delete] 19:16, 19 March '06

Right, im currently doing A- Level art and my exam question is movement. i have decided to do it on gymnasts (this is mainly through being lazy and just sitting on my arse watching the commonwealth games!). i was planning on taking long exposure photos of rhythmic gymnasts (the ones withs ribbons and bouncy balls) and also filming them and doing a kind of Editors video type thing. Another idea i had was to film someone doing a somersault from the front and side and then id be able to track the 3 dimensional movement of their hands and legs and head and then represent these paths using wire/plastic in a sculpture. Does anyone have any other suggestions? (im aware that there are a few art students on this site, so now is your chance to shine!)
