I'm just reading the article in the paper, that descibed how six volunteers collapsed, writingi n agony and eded up 'lookin like the Elephant Man' after being given trial injections of a new drug, TGN1412 (which if you google, turns out it's some kind of drug to test in the treatment against leukemia...
I was totally tempted as a student to do tests for the cash.. Guys, all you students out there, think twice.. This is horrific...

What do you think of clinical trials? I mean, I know it's necessary or we wouldn't have scientific breakthroughs, but this just seems really intense..............
