The Brad Pitt Good/Bad Beard Film Theory

keveddy [Edit] [Delete] 10:03, 6 March '06

The theory is:

If Brad Pitt sports a beard/goatee/facial hair in a film, you can reliably assume that it will be a good film. Exhibit A:

Twelve Monkeys (moustache/goatee)
Fight Club (Chinbeard/full goatee)
Kalifornia (full beard)
Seven (goatee)
Snatch (full beard - excellent pikey accent)

If he has no facial hair, then generally the film will be inferior. exhibit B:

The Devil's Own (terrible irish accent)
Interview with the Vampire
Meet Joe Black
Troy
Cool World

oceans 11, oceans 12 and mr and mrs smith all involve stubble - they're cool, but lacking an underlying substance.

Legends of the Fall: cleanshaven first half - boring. beardy second half - great!

the only exception to this rule as far as i can see is Thelma and Louise. but it's not like he's in that for long, is it?

prove me wrong. I haven't seen the mexican yet, by the way, so that's an unknown quantity...
