Is there a link between people who are close minded towards art and music (guitar band purists, conservative music lovers etc) and those who are generally intolerant towards other people? Are those who are more liberal towards the arts more liberal in general? Do the liberals have all the best art, because they are more creative thinkers and not blinkered in the same way as conservative thinkers? Is this to do with a fear of change, or a willful misunderstanding or intolerance towards the unknown? Which could be described as ... ignorant?
