jesus I hate myself for watching it but that celebrity big brother has me watching it through the gaps in my fingers. Its an hour each evening of utter car crash TV

Almost every person in there is truly disfunctional, an ego maniac or plain brain dead.

Could I ask you guys and girls....how much of an effect on society do you think the whole 'celebrity' obsesssion has?

I dont know why, but I always come back to thinking about Ronnie Barker.....a man with more talent in his little toe than those 11 nobodies (exception being rodman who was a great sportsman)...put together. Ronnie barker was modest to his very lasy days...a dignified family man that had no ego and was married to the same woman all of his life. Compare him to scum like barrymore and galloway and ask yourself would you really want to be a 'celebrity'...if thats what it meant?
