lunch - a rollercoaster of emotions

commandercool [Edit] [Delete] 12:20, 9 November '05

today my lunch stirred within me a multitude of emotions.

i was filled with trepedation as i opened my sandwiches to be greeted by a funny smell which i took to mean the coleslaw in them had gone off.
however, i mustered up the courage to eat them, they didn't taste too funny and i have yet to suffer any sandwich-related ill effects - relief washed over me like a soothing ocean.
however, this was short-lived. i noticed that after eating the sandwiches, it appeared that there had been a coleslaw explosion around me, with shards of carrot and cabbage shrapnel scattered around my desk. this filled me with self-loathing and disgust at my poor eating manners.
but almost instantaneously, the fear returned - i almost ate a brown, yes brown, crisp (this is a great fear of mine).
but, again, relief prevailed when i aborted at the last minute and threw it in the bin.
as i currently write this, i am filled with hope and optimism as i look forward to the pack of jaffa cakes that awaits me next.

anyone else got any lunch-related stories they want to share with the class?
