Because I have reached the milestone of 5000 posts.

So I thought that since the new DiS was launched recently as well, I'd write a little open letter to everyone on DiS.

Basically, I thank each and everyone of you for entertaining me greatly for the past 2 and a half years.

It's safe to say that if I hadn't found this place then my general music taste might be a little worse for wear, I might even had been one of those NME reading pricks, getting all excited about the new group of misfits with nice hair and clothes which don't fit.
But thanks to this site I've discovered so many new things, and keep on doing, there's nothing more exciting then finding something new I like.

I'd like to say that everyone who I've had the pleasure to meet because of this site, whether physically or virtually has been really cool, without question. There have been to many to name individually and if I did that I'm sure to miss someone.

I'd also like to say a big well done to the people who are running this site or contribute with reviews and features, You have something special here with the community on this site which isn't found on many other sites. The new site looks good, and I'm sure when all the new features are brought, this site will rock. And in time I bet people will even get used to the rating system and replying instead of PM'ing!

Right now, this sounds a bit like a farewell, but don't fret, I'll still be here posting innane nonsense for some time, so roll on the next 5000 posts!
