Forgetfulness

bamos [Edit] [Delete] 11:45, 27 October '05

Right. I think I may be getting old, or have addled my brain with too much cider. Or something. But I'm forgetting everything. Well, everything I say. Why is this?

I keep forgetting what I've said to people. And who I've told what stories too. And recently I've been having this...thing...where I'm sure I've said something, but have actually just thought it in my head and not spoken. Mrs B told me off for ignoring her the other day, when I was sure I'd answered her, but it turns out I'd just thought of the answer and forgotten to say it. I actually giggled at a joke I 'told' the other day, only to hear Mrs B asking me what I was giggling at. I told her she had no sense of humour if she hadn't found what I'd said funny...but I hadn't actually said it.

And I'm telling the same story to people two or three times, and then not telling a story to people because I'm sure that I've said it before.

I know that none of this makes sense, and I'm waffling. But by crikey, I can't remember anything anymore.
