british traditions that are dying out

penoid [Edit] [Delete] 16:23, 6 April '16

i'm not talking about folklore and mayday stuff, although that's another thread in itself.

moreso just been pondering this cause i pass a lot of allotments day to day. it might be trendy now to grow succulents and microgreens but what's gonna happen to all of the allotments in, say, twenty years time? will the councils just bulldoze them? less and less pigeons about too. a lot of the greyhound flapping tracks have closed since gbgb/blair's government did them enquiries and now the tories are doing one too.

are the working men's clubs being phased out? still the cheapest place to get a pint but yer people are so into spoons these days.

is this all thatcher's fault?

feel free to step in and make this not a class 'hing with your references. because mine are all northern, smoke-smelling, post-industrial ones.
