We have two sets. One is complete. One has two knives missing. How the fuck did that happen?

You need the knives the most (toast, sandwiches, that sort of shit) so I have just bought six butter knives. Is this acceptable?

When I was growing up it was always the teaspoons that disappeared. My mum said they were getting thrown away with the empty yoghurt pots. Not by me they weren't.
