rather dull anecdote: asked my friend who was also washing clothes if he'd pop into the little shop next door and get some change for the machines.

he came back with the change AND a hula-hoop! could have got gum, rizla, chocolate...anything. weird thing to do, eh.

ended up chucking the hula-hoop out of the hotel window into a tree on our last night in Barca. it landed in such a way that it will almost certainly be there for a very long time. might go back just to check it's still there.
