Because yeah let's be honest they make a fucking shit ton of money.
Yet no matter how good their doping/concussion policies are, how complex and dedicated the training is and how superior the fighters are as athletes, to me it's just two blokes in their pants kicking the shit out of each other in the most barbaric and graphic ways imaginable.
