Morning all

So I've got some page long stuff I want to frame and stick on the wall for posterity and/or humble bragging while guests are round. Thought I might nab some interesting pictures off the interwebs to use as backgrounds, but I'm finding that the images can really get in the way of the text.

Has anyone used any of the Creative Commons websites for similar stuff, or have any recommendations for good background image editing?
