A mate of mine (Dave. It's always a Dave) has gone in for this malarkey in a big way. He's convinced that he doesn't have to pay council tax. So he's not doing so. It's only been a few months so far so he's not been given his court summons but his big plan seems to be to not go. And when they send the bailiffs round tell them they can't come in. And when they try and take it out of his wages he's going to say, "no, you're not."

And if they try to put him in prison he's convinced it isn't lawful to do so as it's a civil matter, or something. Sounds like bollocks but I can't be bothered to look it up.

Is he going to get away with it? I bet he is. It'd be just like Dave that would.
