Inclusive Zone Basketball Question

saps [Edit] [Delete] 11:39, 23 February '16

Didn't know anything about this sport until recently when it turned up as one of the sports different departments are competing against each other in.

Apparently it enables two players in wheelchairs and players who are able to run about to play on the same team against a similar line up. Sounds like a great idea.

It's happening tonight after work with several teams participating.

However, none of the people participating are wheelchair users or in any way physically disable. They're going to take it in turns to sit in the wheelchairs.

Is this ok? Will it give people an insight into just how physically demanding wheelchair basketball is? Or is it a bit like blacking up?
