I managed to cut the inside of my wrist on the broken lid of a casserole dish the other day. It went right through the top layer of skin, so you could see the meat underneath. Problem was I had a bad cold and had already pre-heated the oven (I was reaching over said casserole dish for a baking tray to heat up a lamb patty) so instead of going to get it looked at I just ran it under the cold tap for a bit then put a 'wound pad' on it with some sellotape because I was tired and hungry. Actually I put three on it in quick succession because I kept bleeding straight through them. Seems to have healed up OK for now, albeit with a massive divot which will no doubt scar very visibly. It's even in the 'right' direction as per the movie The Craft.

I subsequently burned the roof of my mouth on the patty.
