how is everyone?

has anyone sought after a dermatologist referral via their gp? give me tips please!
i've had problems with my skin in the past (blah blah blah autoimmune diseases and side effects) and have just been handed the ol' steroid creams and ointments. i have a fairly solid relationship with my gp (having had the same one my entire life) and most definitely feel comfortable being assertive if needs be, providing i can get a bloody appointment in the first place. probably should just make an appointment, yeah?
