Some people get quite annoyed/needlesly defensive when people start a sentence off like that, don't they? But it's obviously fine, as people that don't have kids can't actually know what it is like.

Like, I can imagine what being an astonaut is like, but couldn't imagine or understand the depth of experience or emotions that go with it.

I guess if people can't have kids then it is insensitive to chuck the phrase about, but the people that get all indignant about it tend to be 20something adult babies....so...what do you think?
