How good are you at dinosaur names?

Epimer [Edit] [Delete] 10:25, 4 January '16

Suspect there will be a strong correlation between this and parenting.

My niece got a dinosaur sticker book and everyone else has been fobbing her off about their names. I stepped up, but it was hard work.

I got your standard brontosaurus/diplodocus, stegosaurus, triceratops, t-rex, velociraptor, pterodactyl lot from memory. Surprised myself by remembering dimetrodon (fin on his back). Couldn't remember the club tail one, or the big swimmy one (that was "Nessie"). Had to look up the one with the horn on the back of the head twice and still can't remember it. Called all the small ones allosaurus, which is totally wrong, but she can't read yet so how is she going to know?
