Anyone a fan? Anyone going to any of the sessions? Any predictions?

Easy to mock but darts can be one the most exciting sports watchable. Total drama and the pettiness between players, drunks in the crowd chanting, the costumes and the daft razzmatazz makes it all brilliant to watch.

I've got tickets for Saturday evening. Not the best players during that session but it'll be fun nonetheless. Steve "The Bronzed Adonis" Beaton and Paul Lim are playing in this tournament too. What more could you ask for?

Michael Van Gerwen is probably the one to beat. Too low odds for me to bet on him but as long as James Wade or Terry Jenkins don't win I'll be content.

Should be a good couple of weeks worth of top quality darts before the Sunday league level that is The BDO starts on BBC2.
