Seriously considering this after the whole new snooping laws thing came in. I'm knowledgeable enough to be able to live off the land as long as where I am is rural enough, probably have a big roast in a pub every Sunday but apart from that I'd be fine in a tent or cave I'm sure.

Any of you done this for an extended period and have any tips?

Gas stove, sleeping bag, tent, fishing rod...anything else?
