British muslims and ISIS

nebbie [Edit] [Delete] 13:43, 24 November '15

This thread links in with the one in five Sun headline this week.

Dr Taj Hargey – who advocates a ban on burkas – said on the Moral Maze that he expected British Muslims to demonstrate against ISIS and support of the victims of the Paris attacks. Is he right?

The misappropriation of the Islamic tenement of jihad seemingly continues unabated. Do Muslim spiritual leaders have an obligation to clarify its meaning and rebut ISIS's use of it?

Glibly, can British Muslims do more to allay some sections of the British public's fears that they are complicit in a holy war against Christendom and the West?
