Ulterior motive for this thread: I'm currently trying to do this myself, unsuccessfully. I've had one single location match at 05.50 this morning which appeared to be in the middle of the road, but no luck ever since. It's likely to be in a taxi so that could be plausible...but the fact that I couldn't connect 10 minutes later makes me think a potential thief realised I was searching and disabled my phone.

Any success stories to give me hope?
