Aren'ts and Uncles who Aunt really your Aunts and Uncles

saps [Edit] [Delete] 10:11, 4 November '15

Was it just a working class thing?

Calling your neighbours or parents' friends Auntie whatever and Uncle such-and-such.

I grew up in Dagenham. Raised on concrete, tougher than leather etc

Or was it regional?

Did you Scottish pricks do it?

I assume it doesn't happen anymore, now that no-one's got no respect for no-one no more. Bring back the Krays etc.

My Uncle Frank who lived over the back from us was brilliant. He had a printing press in his shed and made me business cards for my gang at school. <3 Uncle Frank.

(nb he wasn't really my uncle, keep up you twats.)
