I didn't think it was nearly as funny as its early 90s counterpart Wayne's World. But I'm not sure whether this is because:

(a) I got into Wayne's World when I was a lot younger and I've just continued to find it funny, or
(b) Wayne's World is actually objectively funnier.

Not saying it's a bad film - I enjoyed the shopping mall scenes. But that was the one time I laughed out loud in the whole film.
