Michael McIntyre and MASSIVE comedy acts in general

The_Excession [Edit] [Delete] 10:57, 26 October '15

So I went with the wife to see MM last week for her birthday in a huge arena venue. He was really funny, I laughed throughout and was generally well entertained. I realise this means I will have to forfeit my indie card, which I accept. I'll pop it in the post, unless someone comes to collect it?

But: it cost around £40 each to go, and I basically watched him on three massive tellies. I didn't watch him on the stage at all, as we were miles away and he was tiny. So what's the point? Could have saved myself £70 and bought her the DVD when it comes out, stuck a chair in the middle of the living room facing the window and watched the TV at 90 degrees.

I am prepared to accept that I am just on the steady descent to grumbling old age, if that is what we conclude.
